puttering at chores

furry snooze alarm

is the dream killer

coolness

in today's mail-
six plants in cool packaging
nerd senses tingling

enjoying the day-
tidying up the kitchen
and sorting through mail

heat wave

brutally hot day
moving very slowly
when watering plants

can't wait

in one more day-
all night gab fest and movies
with all my sisters

summer rain

summer rains storm-
leaves cling to branches

sleeping in
only to run errands
for someone else
